Michael attended the 2025 Gordon Research Conference on Stochastic Physics in Biology in Ventura, CA. This meeting gathers scientists working at the interface of physics and biology, especially using methods from statistical physics and stochastic processes. There is significant overlap with DBIO sessions at the APS March Meeting, but in a more intimate setting.
Michael presented a talk on "Effect of Ecological Interactions on the Distribution of Fitness Effects in Microbial Communities."
